Dream Escape Cancellation Policy

At Dream Escape, we want you to book your vacation with confidence. Our flexible cancellation policy is designed to protect your travel plans while ensuring fairness for our property owners. The amount of your refund depends on when you cancel your reservation.

1. Full Refund You will receive a 100% refund of your booking total if you cancel 60 days or more before your check-in date.

• This excludes the non-refundable Dream Escape service fee.
• Your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

2. Partial Refund You will receive a 50% refund of your booking total if you cancel between 30 and 59 days before your check-in date.

• This excludes the non-refundable Dream Escape service fee.
• Your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

3. No Refund Bookings canceled less than 30 days before the check-in date are not eligible for a refund.

• In this scenario, the full amount of your booking is retained to compensate the property owner for the lost income.
• We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment.

Fees and Important Details

• Service Fee: The Dream Escape service fee is non-refundable and covers the costs of our platform, guest support, and property verification.
• Cleaning Fee: The cleaning fee is always fully refundable if you cancel before check-in.
• No-Show: If you do not check in on your scheduled date, your reservation will be considered a “no-show” and canceled without a refund.
• Reservation Modifications: Any changes to your reservation, such as dates or number of guests, are subject to the property owner’s approval and may result in an adjustment to the total price.

Special Policy for Brazilian Customers

For our guests residing in Brazil, we honor the legal right to cancel a booking within 7 calendar days of making the reservation, as per the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (CDC). This is applicable only if the cancellation is made before the check-in date.

• In this specific case, you are eligible for a 100% refund of the entire amount paid, including the Dream Escape service fee.
